We moved to the High Meadow Park

Hey Shredders,
Come check it out, we moved the park to the right side of high meadow. There are now more features for you to slide on. A couple of boxes and both picnic tables are in the line up now. And we designed the flow of the features to help get your early season legs in shape. Also, we'll be adding little jibs and bonks all week to keep it interesting so come up and get your shred on!

Brandon,
we will have jumps as soon as we're back in painted horse. I wish I could tell you when that will be. However, its all depending on the natural snow. I'm hoping for the week before x-mas but you never know. we built 5 new rails this season. A 24' round, SQ D-F-D, 24' sq straight rail, 40' rainbow, and a 6" round 20' straight. And I agree with you on adding more jumps. so far as a pipe or quarter I'm not sure. I would like to have one but we're not there yet. Thanks for the props and I hope we can stoke you out again this season.

Now that you have plenty of natural snow, when do you plan on moving to painted horse? And the park off Sun Crest?

Thanks

Mike,
The word on the street is we might be moving to upper respect mid week. If so we will throw up a double line of features and maybe a jump (if we can scrape together enough snow). I'll keep you posted.

I was riding on the weekend of December 15th and I really enjoyed the big box, barrel, and the C rail. They are really fun to hit along with all of the other features. Have you thought of putting any features up on Painted Horse yet? Like mabye a jump or two. Nice work Thanks Morrowsnowboards

please get a roller coaster rainbow and a halfpipe

BskiP said...

are you serious? its the same park manager as it was last year, which was a massive improvement off the few years before. and this year we have less snow. your a genius. it makes sense that when there is more SNOW, they can build more things out of SNOW. and brightons park is actually worse off right now. they dont maintain their stuff worth crap. the only place anywhere close to us with jumps is park city. possibly because they have a huge budget, a higher demand for jumps, and more manpower and cat time. if you havent noticed, they have been blasting snow where upper and lower respect will be all this week, I bet they will have something by christmas, if not by this weekend. and what the heck is a roller coaster rainbow? are you high? or just from tooele? and a pipe is a way bigger deal than you think. please think before you speak.

Sammey,

Don't be a Todd! First of all, roller coaster dragon rails are lame and are more suitable for the circus and clowns. Second, Steve D. and his crew are a huge improvement from the previous fools who knew nothing about parks or how to ride them. Last of all, lack of snow makes it hard put in features. Stop tripping and let Steve and his crew get things done. Now that were getting snow and with his experience and dedication, things will be good soon. Or just go join the other Todd's at Deer Valley if you can't wait.

Hey guys,
Thanks for your support. It’s been hard waiting for snow. The whole park crew is jonesing to start building. Thanks to Mother Nature and Lew(snowmaking) most of the mountain is open and we can now focus on blowing snow for the parks. And it’s going to come fast. Let me tell you the plan. We will be in upper respect Friday pushing snow for our rail features and our first jump. After that we'll be in painted horse starting with the progress features and jumps. Then we'll move back into lower respect to finish the job. I'm hoping all this we'll be finished with in two weeks. Thanks to most of you for being patient with us and the conditions.

I must say, from everything I have heard Steve, you and the guys (plus Mary Ellen of course) have been doing a great job with the little snow you have had so far.
Wish I was there to see it all and hang, but until next season Ill just have to rely on updates from everyone. Great to hear there is an extra rail jam this year.
Your missing liftie,
Jaki

sammey says that he is sorry for being a todd. we were just trying to get you to be faster at getting the jumps and rails up. we have been going to brighton the past couple of years and i really liked last years terrain park at the canyons when i skied there once so i got the pass here and it was making me made that all of my buddys were hanging out in the terrain park and i wasnt sorry once again sammy

Yo Sammy,
I understand your frustration. Parks are our life as well. Just so you know, the ball is started. Head over to Sun Peak first thing tomorrow, you'll be stoked. We built tons of new features for you ride. And you know what, its only going to get better over the next couple of weeks.
Enjoy,
Steve
